On Saturday, June 24, two newly built playgrounds on an area of about 450 square meters near the Golden Lily Square in Dobrinja were officially opened. The project of reconstruction and equipping of children's playgrounds as well as the revitalization of green areas around the playground was financed by the Hifa-Oil Group in the amount of 80,000 KM, and implemented by the Cantonal Public Utility Company Park.

The company Hifa-Oil, as part of its annual socially responsible action plan, successfully completed the project of building two children's playgrounds in Dobrinja with the aim of providing the children of these settlements, but also of Sarajevo, with a nicely arranged and equipped space for socializing and playing. Children are encouraged to spend more time outdoors, socializing away from phones and other electronic devices. Through play and socializing, children develop social skills, empathy, kindness and friendship, which contributes to a healthier and more functional upbringing.

The grand opening of the playground was attended by a large number of parents and children who enjoyed the rich program prepared for them, which included animators, face painting, mascots, gifts, music and games suitable for children. The opening program lasted a full two hours.

"We are glad to see all these smiling children's faces enjoying the game and the fun. We received information from the residents of this settlement that children gather there in large numbers and that they use the playgrounds every day, which makes us especially happy. We hope that they will treat the playgrounds with care and that they will be a place of socializing and friendship for many years," said Sumeja Ahmetlić, director of the Marketing Department and member of the Hifa-Oil board.

Two playgrounds are located in the immediate vicinity and are equipped with a soft rubber surface - tartan, which provides safety in the game and is intended for children from 2 to 12 years old. In addition, they are equipped with child-friendly facilities, surrounded by green areas and separated from the main roads in order to be safe for carefree children's play.

"The Municipality of Novi Grad thanks the Hifa-Oil company for showing interest in the reconstruction of children's playgrounds, because they joined our efforts to provide children with a place to play. There are over a hundred playgrounds in our municipality. There are a large number of children in this settlement, so we welcome the help of the Hifa-Oil company, which built playgrounds for the benefit of all residents of this settlement," said Kenan Erović from the Department for Investments and Communal Affairs of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.

As part of its socially responsible activities, the Hifa-Oil company shows special sensitivity towards the youngest and their needs and will continue to pay special attention to projects that improve the quality of life of children, ensuring their carefree childhood and development.
