Today in Mostar, at an event called "Mostar Open City", a contract signing ceremony was held between JP International Airport - Mostar Airport and the company Hifa-Oil on the supply of airlines at this airport. By signing the contract, Hifa-Oil officially became the new supplier of jet fuel at Mostar Airport.
The ceremony was held in the City Hall with the presence of the mayor, representatives of the administration, numerous dignitaries, ambassadors and other guests. It was especially emphasized that this event is of multiple importance for Mostar, because the stable and high-quality service that Hifa-Oil will provide from now on will also mean greater security for airlines that could potentially open flights to this destination.
The first such airline will certainly be Croatia Airlines, with which the Hifa-Oil company signed a supply contract at the aforementioned event. We remind you that Croatia Airlines recently opened the Zagreb-Mostar route, and the first flights are already planned for May 3.
"I consider this to be a historic agreement after the Covid era, which brought many challenges and technical problems. Thanks to the great work and effort of the last two years, this is a new beginning for Mostar Airport. Zagreb will be a hub for Mostar through which opportunities for connecting with numerous cities in Europe and the world, all important destinations, will open up. We also managed to technically bring Mostar airport to a safe state and, of course, through the company Hifa-Oil, provided a permanent and stable supply for all airlines", said the mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, and invited tourist agencies to get involved in the promotion of new flights and destination.
Mostar and Zagreb will be connected with three flights a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, which will undoubtedly contribute to a greater number of travelers and tourists who will decide to visit Herzegovina and enjoy the beauty that this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina offers. The flights will also enable connections with numerous other destinations in Europe. With the opening of direct flights to Mostar, the airports in Split and Dubrovnik potentially gained new competition.
"Giving trust to our company and signing the contract on the supply of airlines at Mostar airport and the first contract with Croatia Airlines represent a big step forward for the city and this beautiful part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. HIFA-OIL, through a serious and responsible approach, as a reliable partner that is already recognized in Tuzla and Sarajevo, creates excellent conditions for airlines to decide to include Mostar as one of the destinations in their flight plans. We have the potential to create conditions for BiH to be one of the most desirable destinations in the world. We want to provide that satisfaction to all guests who come to our country. Let Mostar Open City and today's event be an exceptional occasion for that," said Venan Hadžiselimović, director of Hifa-Oil.
Now that top service and security for airlines are ensured at Mostar Airport, the City Administration hopes that Mostar will be put on the map of low-budget airlines and that the number of flights to this very interesting tourist destination will increase. Mostar is already recognized as an attractive destination in the world, and is often on the list of the most beautiful small towns in Europe. The company Hifa-Oil points out that with its quality they want to contribute to the greater activity of airlines towards our country, open the door to the world and invite tourists to enjoy the beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The company Hifa-Oil, as a supplier of JET fuel to the world's largest airlines, has been present at Sarajevo and Tuzla International Airports for a long time. Through quality sources of supply, trained and professional staff and thanks to the construction of the most modern terminal in Sarajevo, Hifa-Oil has established itself as a reliable partner and supplies jet fuel to more than 20 world airlines.
With storage capacities of over 34 million liters, which refer to the terminals in Zenica, Prijedor, Vogošća and Sarajevo, the Hifa-Oil company is ready to respond to all challenges.
