Today, ten years of successful operations of HIFA-OIL, which, thanks to a clear and realized business vision, is recognized as the most important domestic distributor of oil derivatives and, at the same time, an individual leader in the distribution of petroleum products in Bosnia and Herzegovina in general.

The company HIFA-OIL d.o.o Tešanj was founded on 01.02.2002. years. The founder and owner of the company, also the director is Izudin Ahmetlić, who until last year was the President of the association of oil derivatives of the Federation of BiH, and today
vice president.

During all 10 years, HIFA-OIL operated exclusively by respecting legal norms and standards
without any exception. Since this business was for some time an area of illegal trade, in fact, until VAT inauguration, we would like to point out that none of the 56,009 tanks distributed in the direction of HIFA-OIL doo Tešanj at the end of 2011 were not sold by the legal procedure . In support of this, all records of tax authorities, and recently of the Indirect Taxation Authority, and the concrete result of legal work, KM 794.4 million was paid to the state budget.

Thus, HIFA-OIL has been involved in regulating the market for petroleum products all these years.

HIFA-OIL in the period 2002-2012 The greatest attention was paid to the quality of petroleum products distributed to end users. Exclusively high-quality derivatives could be the subject of distribution so that all our business partners know that the quality of petroleum products that includes HIFA-OIL in their distribution channels is unquestionable.

Until 2009, it was usual to import petroleum products in BiH. HIFA-OIL recognized the moment and in mid-2009 turned a new page - exports, above all, bitumen to third markets. Today, HIFA-OIL is one of the most important
bitumen distributor in Albania and Kosovo, and a very important distributor in Macedonia, Montenegro, and part of Bulgaria and Croatia. Altogether 117 thousand tons of mainly bitumen have been exported in the last three years, which is a worthy attention.

It is very difficult to precisely set goals, especially on long-term bases, in the branch we are in. This is perhaps the most turbulent market in BiH, and any ambition based on multi-year positioning, resembles more imagination and nice wishes.
